For method 1, i can't get to any of these settings for either screen once the HDMI is plugged in because the laptop defaults to only displaying the desktop on the second screen and the TV cannot display the resolution selected. With the HDMI disconnected, the laptop screen works fine. The second display also works fine for other TVs, the problem is only specific to that one screen. I will try and update the display drivers and report back but i don't have high hopes of this working as I dont think this is a problem with the graphics card.
I think the problem is the settings i have chosen for that one TV screen as a second screen. Is there a way of changing or resetting these settings without having to plug the second screen in?
